Meet Jack Teboda
In the financial services business since 1978, Jack earned a bachelors degree from Iowa State University and a masters degree from Northern Illinois University. He has since successfully acquired his Securities Series 6, 22, 63 and 65 licenses and completed life, accident, and health insurance exams that enable the use of all programs available to fit his client's needs. Over the past 32 years, he has gained the knowledge and experience to help others attain financial independence through personalized investment strategies. Most recently, Jack has completed the education to earn the designation of Certified Estate Planner (CEP). This continuous education demonstrates the enthusiasm Jack has for his profession and his eagerness to stay current with today's fast-changing financial environment.

Jack grew up in DeKalb, Illinois and now resides in Elgin, Illinois with his family: His wife of 36 years, Babs, and his youngest child, Trace. He has two other children, Blakely & Kylee, who reside in Minnesota and Illinois, respectively. He is actively involved in Harvest Bible Church.
Attorney / Associate Advisor
An Elgin native, Kevin is a graduate of the University of Saint Francis in Joliet and received his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law. He was formerly an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Kane County State’s Attorney’s office and just married his wife, Ashley, in July.
Legacy Team Financial Professional
Amanda is the head of the Legacy Division at Teboda and Associates. Amanda focuses her attention in three areas: Wealth Management, Income Planning, and Estate Conservation. By orchestrating an estate planning team composed of a trusted Financial Advisors and Certified Public Accountants backed by the expertise of seasoned Attorneys, the Legacy Team will conduct the process to appropriately pass wealth to future heirs.
When asked what she likes most about working at Teboda and Associates, Amanda referenced a quote: “True greatness is a passionate love for God that demonstrates itself in an unquenchable love and concern for others.” She continued, “I get the opportunity every day to make a difference in the lives of others- and that is what life is all about.”
Amanda completed her undergraduate in Psychology and made the transition into the Financial Industry in 2011. She is a Licensed Life, Health and Accident Insurance Producer in the state of Michigan and Illinois. A former collegiate athlete, Amanda continues to play softball and volleyball in her spare time. Her competitive nature and drive for perfection manifests itself in her work where she is always looking for the best opportunity to exceed all expectations.
Back Office Operations Specialist
Christina is a graduate of Burlington High School and received her Bachelor's degree in finance from Northern Illinois University, where she was an honor student. She began working for Jack part-time in high school and now manages the operations end of the business, taking care of all the processing and management of all paperwork related to clients' accounts.
Christina was married in September and has joined millions of other women who try to keep house while still maintaining her excellent organizational skills and oversight of all Teboda & Associates business.
Marketing and Client Relations Specialist
Sharon Coker has lived in the Elgin area almost her entire life. She grew up in South Elgin, graduating from Larkin High School and continuing her education at Elgin Community College. She is the proud mother of three children, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Randy.
Sharon is a people person. She enjoys people, working with them, helping them and teaching them. She taught computer classes to Willard School’s children, guiding them and helping them to develop and further computer skills. She worked with the offices of the Church of the Brethren in Elgin, giving technical support and guidance. In the past few years, Sharon worked with the volunteers at Provena Saint Joseph Hospital‘s Auxiliary. She worked diligently with the volunteers in all avenues, including events, fundraisers and membership.
Sharon enjoys her work with Teboda & Associates. She feels that the client is first and foremost. With a smile on her face, Sharon’s philosophy is “how can I help you”?
Client Service Specialist
Sheila graduated from the now-defunct Lostant High School (with her class of 25) where she was a member of the National Honor Society and named as an Illinois State Scholar in 1974. She was a McCormack Scholar at Illinois Valley Community College in 1976 before receiving her bachelor's degree in journalism from Northern Illinois University. While working as a reporter, photographer and columnist for the LaSalle Daily News-Tribune, she become a certified EMT-A, working for the 10-33 Ambulance Service in addition to her newspaper duties. After being approached by co-workers about the need for the City of LaSalle to have their own ambulance service, she struck out with this group to form their own service in 1986, where she was vice-president.
After moving to California with her husband in 1987, she worked for the Moreno Valley News before joining the merchandising department of a catalog company, in search of a job that featured regular hours instead of the reporter's steady diet of night work. But she missed writing and joined Jill Lloyd and Associates as a media relations and marketing assistant. eventually working her way up to junior vice president for the firm, which handles fairs and special events. During her tenure with JLA, she worked at every aspect of the business, from stapling press releases to escorting Travis Tritt and Kenny Loggins and their bands through the fairs' carnivals to enlisting her husband as a driver for the late Eddie Rabbitt when his assigned chauffeur was a no-show.
She left JLA to embark on the career of motherhood in 1994. When her son was two months old, the Burnette family returned to Illinois. While caring for her son, in her free time she freelanced for various national magazines, including Police, Law and Order, Emergency and National Libraries, among others. An article written by her on female sheriffs was incorporated into the class materials of a course at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.
After her son began school in 2000, she returned to the workforce with Jack Teboda & Associates, where she's been ever since.
Amy is passionate about providing retirement solutions for retirees and those nearing retirement. She has been actively involved in her industry since 2004, specializing in the area of Medicare supplements and health insurance. Amy has served on several advisory committees, including Genworth Financial. In addition to serving her clients, Amy has trained other agents and enjoys working alongside other professionals to take a team approach in finding solutions to clients needs. Amy is licensed in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Amy is a graduate of Western Michigan University and strives to continuously expand her skills through involvement with industry organizations including Women in Insurance & Finance (WIFS).
Amy’s goal is to build long lasting, trusting relationships with her clients. She works hard to make sure you are fully protected and understand your available options. She strives to provide her clients with accessible expertise and an honest, thoughtful, problem-solving approach to the complex and potentially confusing world of retirement.
When Amy is not helping her clients, she enjoys volunteering and spending time with her family, including her new niece, Isabella.
