Meet Jack Teboda
In the financial services business since 1978, Jack earned a bachelors degree from Iowa State University and a masters degree from Northern Illinois University. He has since successfully passed his Securities Series 6, 22, 63 and 65 exams. Jack is licensed to sell life, accident, and health insurance. With his credentials, Jack is able to offer a full range of products to his clients. Over the past 32 years, he has gained the knowledge and experience to help others attain financial independence through personalized investment strategies. This continuous education demonstrates the enthusiasm Jack has for his profession and his eagerness to stay current with today's fast-changing financial environment.
As an Investment Advisor Representative with ProEquities, Inc and Harvest Investment Services, LLC, Jack is able to provide an extensive network of financial options and products to fit the needs of his clients.
Jack grew up in DeKalb, Illinois and now resides in Elgin, Illinois with his family: His wife of 36 years, Babs, and his youngest child, Trace. He has two other children, Blakely & Kylee, who reside in Minnesota and Illinois, respectively. He is actively involved in Harvest Bible Church.
Attorney / Associate Advisor
Kevin joined Teboda and Associates in 2013. He is a former Assistant State’s Attorney who worked out of the Kane County Illinois State's Attorney office as lead attorney of the Elgin, IL Branch Court. He has also passed the Securities Series 65 exam and maintains life, accident, and health insurance licenses. Kevin’s Education and Licensing allows him to serve as an associate advisor at our firm. As an attorney, Kevin is also able to prepare and execute Estate Planning documents such as Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney.
Kevin is a native of Elgin, IL where he graduated from St. Edward Central Catholic High School. He matriculated to University of St. Francis, Joliet, IL, on a football scholarship where he graduated magna cum laude in 2009. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from St. Louis University School of Law and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2012. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association Trust and Estate Section as well as Wealth Counsel, a nationwide group of attorneys committed to bringing their clients the finest estate planning advice and documentation possible.
Kevin is married to Ashley and they currently reside in Pingree Grove, IL.
Amanda is the head of the Legacy Division at Teboda & Associates. Amanda focuses her attention in three areas: wealth management, retirement income planning, and estate preservation. By orchestrating an estate planning team composed of trusted financial professionals, Certified Public Accountants, and seasoned attorneys, the Legacy Team will help you with your planning needs that will help you pass your wealth to loved ones.
When asked what she likes most about working at Teboda & Associates, Amanda referenced a quote: “True greatness is a passionate love for God that demonstrates itself in an unquenchable love and concern for others.” She continued, “I get the opportunity every day to make a difference in the lives of others- and that is what life is all about.”
Amanda completed her undergraduate in Psychology and made the transition into the Financial Industry in 2011. She has passed the Series 65 exam and has life, health, and accident insurance licenses in the states of Illinois and Michigan. A former collegiate athlete, Amanda continues to play softball and volleyball in her spare time. Her competitive nature and drive for perfection manifests itself in her work where she is always looking for the best opportunity to exceed all expectations.
Back Office Operations Specialist
Christina is a graduate of Burlington High School and received her Bachelor's degree in finance from Northern Illinois University, where she was an honor student. She began working for Jack part-time in high school and now manages the operations end of the business, taking care of all the processing and management of all paperwork related to clients' accounts, and prides herself on her organizational skills and efficient oversight of all Teboda & Associates business.
Christina was married in September 2010, and since then she and her husband, Dan, have welcomed three girls to their family that keep them on their toes! Twins, Quinn and Brooklyn, were born in 2011, and Zoey arrived in 2015. Christina loves to spend time with her family outdoors and enjoys time on the ATV trails, boating or riding motorcycles & snowmobiles with her husband.
Client Service Specialist
Sheila graduated from the now-defunct Lostant High School (with her class of 25) where she was a member of the National Honor Society and named as an Illinois State Scholar in 1974. She was a McCormack Scholar at Illinois Valley Community College in 1976 before receiving her bachelor's degree in journalism from Northern Illinois University. While working as a reporter, photographer and columnist for the LaSalle Daily News-Tribune, she become a certified EMT-A, working for the 10-33 Ambulance Service in addition to her newspaper duties. After being approached by co-workers about the need for the City of LaSalle to have their own ambulance service, she struck out with this group to form their own service in 1986, where she was vice-president.
After moving to California with her husband in 1987, she worked for the Moreno Valley News before joining the merchandising department of a catalog company, in search of a job that featured regular hours instead of the reporter's steady diet of night work. But she missed writing and joined Jill Lloyd and Associates as a media relations and marketing assistant. eventually working her way up to junior vice president for the firm, which handles fairs and special events. During her tenure with JLA, she worked at every aspect of the business, from stapling press releases to escorting Travis Tritt and Kenny Loggins and their bands through the fairs' carnivals to enlisting her husband as a driver for the late Eddie Rabbitt when his assigned chauffeur was a no-show.
She left JLA to embark on the career of motherhood in 1994. When her son was two months old, the Burnette family returned to Illinois. While caring for her son, in her free time she freelanced for various national magazines, including Police, Law and Order, Emergency and National Libraries, among others. An article written by her on female sheriffs was incorporated into the class materials of a course at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.
After her son began school in 2000, she returned to the workforce with Jack Teboda & Associates, where she's been ever since.
Marketing Director and Client Outreach Specialist
Casey graduated from Barrington High School in 2011 and received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2015. She began working for Teboda and Associates in April 2016 and handles client outreach and all things marketing and event related. She enjoys getting to work with and assist clients on a day to day basis and using her organization and creativity to put together exciting seminars for prospective clients.
Since graduating from UIC, Casey and her boyfriend, Ryan, bought their first home together in Buffalo Grove. As a former high school and collegiate athlete, she enjoys golfing, working out, and running in her spare time. She also enjoys relaxing by the pool, doing home improvement projects, and spending time with family and friends.
